A Precocious Germination is when a seed germinates without undergoing all four stages of seed development.

When I was a child my father bought me a microscope and we walked down to the local pond where he put pond water and little green algae on the little glass slides. As I peered into the lens, a mysterious new world was opened up to me! My work in in these pieces represents my rediscovery of the hidden worlds I found by the water’s edge so many years ago. Some memories stay with us.

I used Ink, and acrylics to recreate the images in my memory.

Framed in a light wood drop frame. 36 x 36 x 2.5 with frame.
