An abstract interpretation of floating under a group of Trees.

There is tangible, recognizable connective tissue that connects my work. From the vastness of the Oceans to the intricate branching patterns within each of our life-giving cells, I am drawn to the organic structures and flow of nature. Where water meets land, where forces collide and expansion breathes beauty in stillness.

Through my work I attempt to capture the dynamic energy that surrounds and fills us, constantly shifting and transforming, too small to understand and too vast to comprehend… and recognizing that the patterns of change are the only constant we have. 

Always exploring the abstract with paint, ink, paper, pastels, and canvas I realized I could experiment within the physical, dimensional space of the media itself. Approaching abstraction as scientist and mystic. I often change styles and mediums, exploring unknown territory while developing new methods. Like an archeologist this relentless spirit of curious inquiry feeds my need to dig. and hope for treasure.
